What Is It ?

Micro-Sclerotherapy effectively treats spider veins. It is often considered the treatment of choice for these veins.

Micro-Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution purposely damages the vein wall  , forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The damaged vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades. After Micro-sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to improve within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see full results.

In some instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed.

A face to face consultation is required prior to treatment.

Why Is It Done ?

Micro-Sclerotherapy is done for Cosmetic Purposes.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, doctors recommend waiting to have sclerotherapy done.

Risks: Micro sclerotherapy can result in some complications. Please contact the clinic for more information on temporary side effects, during & after the procedure and results.
